PaisaTrack is a personal finance management application designed to help users record income and expenses, import financial statements, manage budgets, review analytics, track assets and manage shared family expenses.

This Privacy Policy explains what information PaisaTrack collects, why it is collected, how it is used and the choices available to users.

PaisaTrack may collect and process the following information:

Name, email address and user account identifier
Profile photograph, when voluntarily uploaded
Income, expenses, budgets and transaction information
Imported bank-statement information
Assets, liabilities, loans and financial-health information
Family or shared-expense information
Bill, receipt or document images voluntarily uploaded by users
App installation, device and notification identifiers

Create or sign in to a PaisaTrack account
Enter financial records manually
Upload bank statements, bills, receipts or profile images
Use budgeting, analytics, asset or family features
Enable app notifications

3. How information is used

Information is used to:

Create and manage user accounts
Provide expense, income and budget tracking
Import and categorise financial transactions
Generate spending analytics and financial-health information
Provide family and shared-expense functionality
Store user preferences and profile information

4. Family and shared information

PaisaTrack may allow users to share selected expense or family-related information with people they invite. This information is visible only within the relevant invited family or shared group.

5. Third-party services

PaisaTrack uses trusted service providers to operate the application:

Supabase for authentication, database and file storage
Google Sign-In for optional Google account authentication
Firebase services for Android configuration and notifications
Google Play services for app distribution and related functionality

These providers may process limited information only as necessary to provide their services, maintain security and operate the application.

6. Data sharing

PaisaTrack does not sell personal or financial information.

Information may be disclosed only:

To service providers required to operate PaisaTrack
When a user intentionally shares information with invited family members
When required by applicable law or a valid legal request
To protect users, the application or the rights of others

7. Data security

PaisaTrack uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, authentication controls and database-access restrictions.

However, no electronic storage or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information is retained while the user account remains active or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide PaisaTrack's services.

Data may be retained for a limited additional period when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

Remove uploaded files where supported
Leave family or shared groups where supported

11. Children's privacy

PaisaTrack is not designed or intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
